OUR BENCH
THE RESEARCH - KS2
We designed our book bench based on the
theme of 'Noah's Ark' taken from Genesis 6-8 in
The Bible Stories. Before we designed and
decorated our bench, our Key Stage Two children conducted
some research to find out some interesting facts related to the story of Noah. The children then designed their own web pages which helped inspire the finished site.
THE DECORATING - KS1
The children from Key Stage One each designed their own bench templates. Each child was asked to draw their own animal to be painted onto the bench. They then set to work transferring their drawings onto the bench before giving them some colour. Both the front and the back of the bench include animals that Noah took onto his Ark.
The completed book bench will be on display in Chorley town centre on Saturday 28th April 2018, for the 'What's your story, Chorley?' book bench exhibition.
